Hi! My name is Summerlyn Gwin and I am the owner and designer for MemoriesToo.com.  I am self-taught with no formal education in graphic design.

MemoriesToo.com came about by accident. After my son was born, I decided that I wanted to design our Christmas card. I figured that it couldn’t be too hard. I soon found out that I couldn’t have been more wrong. It took me weeks of playing with the program to figure out the basics. A few weeks later, our card was finished.

After Christmas, I started receiving so many compliments on our card and people asking “Where did you get your Christmas card?”  I even had people tell me who hadn’t received a card that they had heard about how beautiful it was. I was so elated to be getting such a wonderful response. 

I started getting requests from friends to design invitations for them. After many free designs and people urging me to start charging, MemoriesToo.com was born in August 2006. It was so scary because I really didn’t think that there was much of a market and I didn’t think I was that good at it. I figured I would give it a shot and hope to get a few orders.  The first thing I did was design some Halloween/ Fall cards and put them up on my website. The response was overwhelming and Christmas was even better!  A year later I had expanded to other paper products and had purchased a professional printer for the paper products.

I am so blessed to have a wonderful family and great friends that have encouraged me and supported me along the way. MemoriesToo.com has allowed me to stay home with my son and given me a creative outlet to do something that I have fallen so in love with.
